Charise Chiu

Charise is a dynamic choreographer and dancer based in Burnaby, BC, with a passion for movement that began at the age of 8.

Her journey in dance has been marked by notable achievements, including earning the title of "World Junior Champion at Hip Hop International" in 2014, a testament to her skill and dedication at a young age.

Charise’s diverse dance background spans several genres, including Waacking, Popping, Locking, Dancehall, Afro, Contemporary, and House. Her versatility and depth in these styles reflect her broad artistic influence and industry knowledge.

Having trained under some of the most respected choreographers and crews in Vancouver, LA, and Seattle, Charise has cultivated a strong foundation in both technical excellence and creative expression.

After completing two seasons with Northside, Charise now shares her expertise as a faculty member at Studio North, continuing to inspire and mentor the next generation of dancers.
